Well, I have finally taken the firt step and set up an appt with an att'y today. Other than the obvious questions re: my personal situation, my state exemtioons, etc. I am wondering if any of you found other questions to ask. Mayebe AFTER you met or went further into the process new ?? arose. I am lookingat Ch7 and have not doubt that I will qualify ($14,000 in cc, $3000 taxes and $16,000 in student loans). My situation arose form going back to school for several years in my late forties, work for myself and lived on finanacial aid as well. I know the sl & taxes cannot be discharged. Most of the cc debt wqas due to car (10 years old) repair/maintenence, vet bills and medical (I have no insurance) and other needs - no fancy stuff in this house (which I do not own, but rent).
So any sugegstions or questions to ask appreciated.
