How long for case to show up in PACER?

I just filed yesterday but I was wondering how long it takes for my case to show up in PACER. I've already checked it but it's not their yet. Yes - I know I'm impatient...

Did you file pro se or with an attorney.

If you filed with an attorney, then they would have filed it electronically and therefore, it usually shows up on PACER the minute the case is filed. If you filed pro se, meaning you handed the clerk paper documents, and given that yesterday was Friday...It could take a couple days (I would think it should be on PACER no later than Tuesday).

My attorney filed it electronically yesterday but I checked and it's not there. I have a case number and everything.

If you have a case number, the BK must be on PACER. The PACER E-File system assigns the case number.

ok - my case is there now. I'm so paranoid to look around though. Every page I look at costs me .08 and I know from other posts that it can add up quick. I'm looking for my 341 date. I have a computer science degree and this system is confusing to me, especially because I keep viewing pages that I don't need to see. When I click on my name it takes me to a page called "Query" and then there's a bunch of links, Alias, Associated Cases, Attorney, Case File Location, etc. Which link tells me when my 341 is? The summary link shows Pending Status - Awaiting 341 meeting but no date.

Try Docket Report, then use your case # again, it should show your 341 info on the next page.

I found Pacer very confusing as well. I didn't use it too very much.

                  Yay Kari!

I have a computer science degree and Pacer is confusing to me too. Just because we have a degree doesn't mean we'll understand poorly designed and unintuitive web pages. That onus is on the webpage designer.

And I know about being impatient. Trust me. I keep checking 13datacenter.com for disbursement of my final payment. I know they got it.

I did at first, but once I understood what to open, it became easier especially since I was declared a NO Asset case. Once I log in, I go to the court where I filed my case and open that up. When it opens I use my social security number to look for my information and it takes me directly to my information. I only open Court Documents and I usually click on Most Recent Dates first so that if anything has happen since I last checked Pacer, I will see it first. Then after looking there, I click on Status and after that, no more looking. Works for me.
