Need Help with Pacer

Ok I need some help with Pacer. We filed on Monday, Oct. 15th and so yesterday I logged onto Pacer and got my id and password and I saw our filing. Today I go on there and I can't log in and it says that they could not find that person in their system. Also when I logged on yesterday with that query.....I was able to put in the ssn and today I couldn't do that I had to type in the last name. I even put in our case number and it wasn't there.

Is that website only supposed to be for attorneys? I was reading this thing on there about how it is for attorneys and law firms to access information and that they log everything and you can be prosecuted? Is that right? I am freaking out here......I just am confused as to why I could access it yesterday but not today? Help!

Ok seriously.....totally stupid! I wasn't clicking on the court link under the Bankruptcy courts I was clicking on the link for the court under the first tab and that was not the bankruptcy section.......no wonder it wouldn't work! DUH!

So we have our 341 meeting on Nov. 27th at 10am and then it says objections to discharge due by Jan. 28th.

I am just happy to finally have a date for this 341 meeting!

I know exactly how you feel. Yay!! I just found out my info too. PACER is sooo confusing. Especially when you know you're being charged .08 per page when you don't even know where to look.

Look at the Pacer tutorial in the General Bankruptcy Section under "Helpful links" or something like that. Remember they can charge you for pages you don't even look at, if you open up a file with 300 pages in it, then you pay 300 X .08! Or at least that is what I understand. I have not used it yet. We hope to file in the beginning of November, so our 341 - which is running about 3 weeks out - may be about the same time as your's.

I follow sinking's great advice to look under last filing date at the top of the page so I don't keep looking and get charged. Its addicting to look and check, glad its the weekend now and nothing new will show up.
