Would This Count as Medical Expense?

I have tmj which is not covered by my insurance. There are a few ways around that though - pain medication doctors, or chiropractors. Neither are a cure.

I want to see a craniosacral therapist. That is definately not covered and I'll have to pay out of pocket.

So I was just curious if this would count as a medical expense for someone who was filing bk?

If the therapy has been recommended by your Dentist or your Doctor as a treatment for your condition, include the expense.

Worst case scenario,.......... The Trustee says "No".

Routinely, you don't break down what you spend on Medical, so it may not be a problem. So much for meds. So much for copays. So much for this and that.

The only time you'd be asked about specific expenses would be if what you spend exceeds what the Court normally sees. As long as you can document your need and how much you spend, you should be fine.
