BK and apartment lease renewals

I just noticed that my apartment complex (large national one) is on my list of creditors, and the mailing matrix. Presumably because I have a lease that goes for another 9 months.

This is the one and only worry I've really had while filing -- can a bk on my credit report affect my current housing situation? I was thinking probably not since I know they don't pull credit reports for lease renewals. But now I see they're going to be notified directly, and right to my own complex office. Ugh!

Anyone know anything about how this might affect my lease next year? I have a perfect on-time rent payment record with them for 3+ years. Should I do something pro-actively?

I rent and my townhome manager was never notified of the filing. I filed February 2005. My lease has been renewed 3 times since I have filed and there has not been any problems.
