    Hasn't happened but what if someone wins a big lottery right after a bankruptcy has been discharged?

    If you win the lottery or come into a large sum of money within 6 months of your discharge you have to tell the court. Thats what I was told by my Trustee.

      Do they seize all the money or pay off your debts and return the rest? just wondering.

        They only pay off what is owed.
