I have my car loan with a credit union. I joined specifically because they offered me an excellent rate. I also have my direct deposit going into a checking account there and they are withdrawing for the car automatically from that checking account.
When I file, I plan to keep the car. There will be no late payments ect. I purposefully went out and bought a new car while my credit was still good - and that will last me the long haul.
I have no credit cards with this bank. Just the car loan.
Am I ok with keeping my direct deposit going into this account? When I file, do you think this will make them nervous causing them to freeze my money?
Or should I open a new account with a new bank just in case?
just want to be prepared and I do not want them freezing my account for any reason. it is money I need to live on. thanks.
