    Waiting for 341 Meeting

What did you do while you waited for your 341?

I am going to do my final counseling, but after that I guess I will sit and wait.

I have mine in July, so I have a long wait. Now that I have filed, there isn't much excitement anymore. LOL

I have all the things I need for the 341, except for doing my last counseling.

Friday the 13th, could be a lucky day for you.

Ms AC told me to tell you to hang in there. If you have a garden, go play in it. Even if it is small window boxes. Watch the small green things grow. That in itself is a joy.

I didn't mean I am worried about the 341. I was curious to what others did to pass the time.

I have the things needed for the 341. And according to my attorney it should take about 5 minutes.

I was scheduled pretty fast. Filed the 29th of May and my 341 is the 24th of June. A little over 2 weeks from today. Found out on Pacer.
I was expecting 4 to 6 weeks from the time I received the actual notice, I just got it today in the mail.

Not really sure what to do but the kids are keeping me busy. Daughter is off to her Senior Ball tonight and then we will spend the next week preparing Graduation announcements. She will be leaving me in September for college. The 24th is also my babies last day of kindergarten so I really want to enjoy the next couple of weeks with him. Next fall he will be gone ALL day. That just breaks my heart. I love our quiet mornings together. The others will keep me busy, carting them back and forth to school for crazy testing hours.

I guess its good to keep busy as it will make the days go by faster. On one had I want them to go fast so this 341 will be over and I can come here and post "341 over!" and on the other hand I want to stop the clock. Just craziness.

My husband did patch a couple holes in our pool liner yesterday. He added a bit of water throughout the night and today so we will see how it holds. Fingers crossed it works for now. That will be a good way to have fun during the down time. Although its baseball season and with 4 boys all playing.... I wont breath until July! ugh....

Just keep putting X's on the calendar.

I filed yesterday and my 341 is July 8th.

I am not looking forward to my kids graduating. I know they are suppose to grow up, but it seems that they have done that way too fast. Daughter graduates in '09 and son in '10.

                Congrats to your daughter.

I actually need to learn how to post our scheduling. It might help everyone else. How do you put the information at the bottom?

                  Thanks, from the Ignorant One.

I was quite suprised at how fast the 2 month wait we had went. I was thinking the same thing as you one day and it seems like the next day was our 341. It went so fast. Thats whats keeping me going now....is knowing that its going to go fast no mater what Im doing with my time. Dragonnfly

I am sure it will go fast. I have my teenagers to keep me busy, with school getting out this week.

Well, I spent the time just going about my daily business. Went to work everyday and at night, started putting pen to paper to fix the issues that created my bk. Basically, champange taste on a beer budget.
I updated my resume, developed a realistic budget. Resolved to max out my 401K post discharge. Did some networking about better jobs, etc.
Anyway, a few days before discharge I got a call about a job I had interviewed for months before. Whoever they hired didn't work out and I went through the process again. I got the job a few days after my case closed.
There's plenty to do if you just start looking around.

We had 2 months in between our filing and our 341. For the first few weeks, I actually forgot about it. Because it was so far out, I just went on with my life.

Then about 2 weeks before the 341, I was scared ****less! I kept envisioning going to the meeting and "something" going wrong. I was sick to my stomach for weeks because I was so nervous.

I think all you can do is just go on with your life.

                            Good luck!

I am not looking for suggestions on things to do, I already have plenty.

I was curious what others did with their time. We spend so much time getting things ready to file, then you file and it's sit and wait time.
