Has anyone received a paper stimulus check

Hello. I see some threads on if people are going to be able to keep their stimulus check, but I was wondering if anyone that falls under the IRS scheduled times that should have already received a paper check actually did.

We have not filed BK yet--actually were hoping if we got the check to use it for the attorney. We owed this year and sent them a check with our 2007 return so we did not have the direct deposit information on the return. I guess this means we should get a paper check. Did anyone receive a notice that told them they were getting one or how much it would be? Our ss# indicates that ours should have gone out May 30 but we have not seen anything.

We got ours (paper check) about 2 weeks ago and spent it on bills already - hope thats okay. Have not filed yet.

I got my papercheck about 2 weeks ago, mine was almost 2 weeks late (my ss# was the one that fell into the first group to receive their check). I also owed to the IRS and they took out what I owed.

Thanks for the info. Did either of you receive a notice ahead of time telling you what the amount was going to be? Just curious since I don't remember getting anything specific.

Just received my paper check today. We got a notice last week detailing how much it would be and the expected date we would receive it

I received a notice on Saturday stating I should get it by June 13th, it also stated how much it would be.

I received a notice as to getting $1200 for me and wife. However in that I owe them 24K, I don’t think I will see too much of it. If I get one I shall d*amend well send it on to my Trustee. Those who wish to use the funds for the bk lawyer before they file, I cannot see that a Trustee could or would object to that use. ‘Hub

I got a notice and then got my check about 5 days later.

I got a paper check even though I used direct deposit for my refund, and I got my notice about when I would receive my check about 2 days after I got my check. Gotta love the federal gov't speed.

They told me I was getting the $600 but it wasn't till I got the check that it showed how much they took out from the taxes that I owed.

Mine was supposed to be "mailed by 6-13" and recieved it a little over a week early.

I owe back taxes for 2007 and I got a letter in the mail saying my $600 stimulus check was applied to the taxes I owe. That's $600 less I owe now, woo hoo!

We got a notice about a week ago that we should receive our stimulus check by the 13th. That's tomorrow. We owe back taxes for 2005, 2006, and 2007. We got a 'nasty gram' from the IRS about the 2007 taxes that are owed and are late. I don't expect to see the stimulus check at all. And if we do, we have to send it to the Trustee, which we will do along with the 'nasty-gram' from the IRS.

I got mine the day before it was even supposed to be mailed out. I'm using it to file my bankruptcy. Thanks IRS!
