    ? regarding Countrywide

    Ok, filed for Chapter 13 May 29th. Mortgage with Countrywide is being paid outside of the plan, as all is (I hope) current and always has been. Every other week 1/2 of the payments is taken out by Wells Fargo Equity Enhancement program and sent to Countrywide. Today I checked out our mortgage online and it shows no activity for June. There was 1/2 the payment taken out 5/30 and 1/2 on 6/13. This was for our July payment. I am assuming the payments went to Countrywide like they always did and that CW is just not updating our account anymore. The automated telephone information also showed no transactions. Is that how CW operates? I still have online access, but the payments or activity is not shown. I'll call them first thing in the morning, I'm just trying not to freak out here!

    Can anyone tell me about their online experience with how CW works?

    CW will not allow me to use pay plans anymore. Were you doing plan/24? (bimonthly) They also shut down my online access. Give them a call and speak to the bankruptcy department. I believe the only way you can pay them from now on is either by mail or over the phone. They will not do the bimonthly plan anymore. And since they will not reaffirm the debt with you, they will never report payments to CBs again. My online only shows the last payment that was processed before filing. They should begin mailing you paper statements (not technically bills) when the next due date is. But call to confirm this and write down who you spoke to, date and what was said.

      So you think they refused the payment that Wells Fargo sent them on our behalf?

        So the money was taking out of WF in May and June for payment due July 1? Those sound like dates for June 1st payment. My payments were processed on the 25th of one month and the 10th of the next month for the 1st that fell in between the two dates. The only way to find out is to call CW. You have to speak to someone in their BK department because your account has been shifted to them. I have not had any problems, other than forgetting to mail payment on time because its been so long since I have done so, lol.

        If they had refused payment, The money would still be in your WF account.
