    I don't know!

    /rant on

Yes, I am going to embrace the fact that I don't know what the heck will happen until it happens.

I am not an attorney, I dont know the laws, so no matter how much digging I do and how many times I run my own means test based on what I've found, I have absolutely no idea of if I will be filing Ch 7, Ch 13 or laughed out of the courtroom.

I'm overnighting all the paperwork to my attorney tomorrow. Then I'll let him go over it and tell me what is best in my case since he knows what he's doing and I don't!

Until then, I just need to stop obssessing. Like my friend from Australia says, there's no use in getting all worried over anything; it may never happen, and if it does - there's nothing you could do to stop it!

Thanks for letting me lose it. Now back to your regular programming.

I'm in the same boat as you, over median, but yet to take the means test. It's driving me nuts!!! I did the online test (many times), using different numbers, because I don't know exactly what expenses are deducted. I seen no line for homeowners insurance, but we have to pay it every month! If it is included we have a disposable income under 100 dollars. If it's not we have a disposable income over 200 dollars. And who knows if I'm even filling out the rest of it correctly? Geez...
I think your friend in Australia is right, but I know how hard it is!!! You are not alone!!!

I worked the means test over and over and I had lots of trouble with it.

At the end of the day I think I was under even with above average income.

In any event in the beginning it is hard to not think about constantly but after you fill out the attorney questionnaire you will feel better about it.

7 or 13 or negotiate down, SOMETHING will happen that will help you out. it is just a matter of which solution will fit your situation.

At least that's what my attorney told me and he's probably right.
Very fortunate in the grand scheme of things but have learned my lesson.

        Filed 12/15/08, 341 1/12/09, Cont to 2/12/09, cont to 3/12/09, cont to 4/15/09, cont to 5/11/09, cont to 6/02/09. Discharged 9/16/09, Closed 10/23/09
