So sorry for your loss, that is sad. 
We are in the same boat with overtime and bonuses. We don't know how long we'll need to wait to file, and I think we may end up Ch13 too. We haven't stopped paying CC's yet but we'll need to soon, I'm just afraid to. We've stopped paying on our old home as of June and we're starting to get several daily calls from Countrywide that I can't answer (luckily we're not home for most of them). I know the waiting is hard, but this WILL work out. I know it.
