How do you find original creditors/statements?

Our attorney wants us to send the most recent bills we've received from our creditors. Some are easy, but there are a few who we haven't heard from in a long time. We moved just over a year ago, and I never sent out our new address to our creditors, and if they've sent us statements since then, they weren't forwarded.
We have one cc debt that we haven't heard anything from in 2 years. Wishful thinking that they've forgot! I know they haven't though, and it's not showing up on our credit report.
How would I go about finding this out? Is there a way online to find out this information?
Someone else was just commenting about all the paperwork to be filled out with bk..... I feel like I'll be doing this for the next month!!
    Thanks for anyone's help!

I would start by getting a copy of your credit report. If your debts are that old they may have been sold by now and you will need to know that for your bankruptcy. Personally I would not contact the creditors you have not heard from. I would get the ones you can and give a list to the attorney along with the cc whose names are on the report. Hopefully that would suffice. I don't know of any internet source other than the cc web pages. I, however, was locked out of those after about 6 months of no payments. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hi Samantha, the forwarding order would have expired after about 6 months, and then First-Class mail would have been returned to the sender.

And, Yes! The paperwork is horrendous, but necessary. Hang in there; you'll get through it.

I didn't have to turn in any statements. Everything was taken off my credit report and the 2 that weren't on my report I got the information by googling the company name and called.

If they are CC accounts, you can call the number on the back of the cards and they can give you the information.
