    Pension/403B

Can a trustee take my pension plan and my 403B?

No. they are exempt. Some will even allow you to continue contributing to it during the course of a CH 13, like mine does. (I have to continue to put in 5% to get a matching amount from my employer, I wouldn't be allowed to up the amount I put in there to protect future earnings from the creditors though.)

Do they have to be claimed as part of your federal exemptions? My pension has 25,000 and my 403B has 6000. As you can tell, I am no where near retirement

It was my understanding that they were 100% exempt, doesnt matter how much you have in them, and it's not part of your federal exemptions, but not 100% sure so double check with your attorney.
