One more thing, where do I find the IRS standard for tuition? All I find is $125/month for each child for private school, nothig about public.

Means test states that you can claim up to $137.50/per child. On your schedule J you can list the actual tuition expense. Some district will allow the actual expense to fly on your schedules, others will not so be prepared to defend them if necessary.
