    This is so weird

I received in the mail today two debit Mastercards from a bank that I included in my Ch 13 plan. I owe this bank roughly $450 due to a charged off checking account. They did not file a claim to be paid, but I just thought it was odd they sent me two new cards. I know it has to be a mistake because that account has been closed for almost two years now, but it also makes me wonder if they are trying to pull a fast one on me

Hard to say if it was an honest mistake and the computer just generated them and they got mailed out.....or if they really are trying to pull a sneaky one on you. I'd just shred 'em if i were you.

I don't know if it is sneaky or what, but as soon as we filed, we got cc offers like crazy from almost every company there is. We just shredded them.

I just got our new cards for a cc account that we stopped paying the minimum payment in June - they call us a dozen + times a day to try to get a payment, but then they sent us the new cards! Same thing with Discover - they sent me BT checks a few weeks ago even though we stopped paying them too! Nuts.

Yesterday my dad got an application from Capital One offering him a business credit card for 0% APR. Even though they closed his other account and put it in collections.

I don't know if it's computer error or they just enjoy seeing people go into cc debt.

I think it's a little bit of both
