    Should I file BK13

    Got about 39,000 in CC debt. income of 88k yearly.

    not behind on any payments, but dont like living check to check.

    thinking about BK 13???

    going berzerk thinking about it???

    any advice please

    Just want to get out of CC debt..

    bring home 5,417 monthly

    house 948 include taxes and insurance
    car 600
    electric 250
    water 100
    phone 100
    car insurance 250
    health insurance 225

    From your figures, you have $2944 left over each month for food and other things. Sounds like it might be tough to file a BK. But hey...I don't know all that much. If you could pay $1000/month on your cc debt you might be out of debt in less than 5 years.

      And have perfect credit doing it that way. BK is for people that do not have extra income. Since you have never missed a payment and have money to make the payments you might want to consider debt consolidation or just working with your credit card companies to lower your rates which will get it paid off much quicker. Why ruin your credit if you dont have to?
