    What do you all think...CH7?

Here's a very brief summary of my situation....

    Washington state
Combined gross income IF NO OT $7765 per month

    After taxes $5901
    Mortgage 1st $1800
    Mortgage 2nd $200
    Auto Ins $200
    Water, phone, power, garbage $500

We have 2 kids, some equity in our house, not included is stuff like cellphones, internet, tv etc etc

Just with a brief look do you guys think i'd qualify after adding in clothes, food, etc etc?

What sort of debt are you trying to discharge?
Keep in mind, it's not just the means test. You must fill out schedules I and J and determine if you have any disposable income to fund a Chapter 13.

Well, for a family of 4 in Washington, the median income is $79,397, so you are OVER the median. The means test is based off of GROSS INCOME.

We need more info, what kind of debt do you have an how much.

But based solely on your income and expenses, your looking like a long shot for a chapter 7. Sorry.

The debt that is killing me is unsecured cc debt. Approx 80k in those, 25k in student loans, 30k to social security for massive overpayment a long time ago.

When I do a quick online test to see where my monthly expendatures put me it seems that the numbers put me in the hole....I think it's the means test?

I realize that student loans and ss won't go a way, if i could just make the cc's go away then i'd be able to make ends meet.

My main thing is that I cannot lose the house....but always made that payment a priority and there's no way i have 125k in equity with the market the way it is....

The quesrion was answered. The Op posted several threads. In a later thread he revealed 2 paid for cars worth $27K.
I suggested he sell those to pay the ss or student loans that would survive bk.
