I know this is who we pay our mortgage too. But when i call the number on the statement is says they are just a debt collector? Does that just mean they are not a mortgage co?

I can't answer that but I doubt you have a problem. I too was confused when I saw so much stuff about them. The good link I sent you if it is the same contact phone you used or not?
