    Amending List of Creditors

I filed for chapter 13 in march. I just converted to chapter 7 in october. Since it's been almost 9 months from when I filed for bankruptcy, I've accumulated more debts.

Can I now add more creditors to my schedules so that I can get rid of more debt? Or are we only able to get rid of the debts we reported at the time we first filed for bankruptcy? Thanks.

Yes you can ammend debt that you did not have on your original petition, as long as the debt was incurred before the date you filed. It will probably cost about $30 to do it.

Since you are converting to a different chapter and you are in reference to the debt that you took on AFTER the original filing, my hunch is no, but I suppose someone has at least tried it and I could be wrong. hmmm
