employment okay after 341, but before discharge???

I have just a quick question. When I filed my Chapter 7 case PRO SE, I was currently unemployed and I still am currently unemployed. I have already had my 341 hearing and now am officially in the 60 day waiting period, actually creditors only have about 30 days now to object, before discharge..My 341 was last month....

My question is, if I were to get employed now, if I am lucky to find a job in this enconomy, would that effect my bankruptcy case????? AND would I have to let the trustee know, or is that part in time over with for now??

I have about $23,000 in debt, of $8,100 is student loans???

Any help that you can give would be greatly apprecited..

You do realize you probably will not get the student loans discharged.

Other than that if you got a job now it would not affect the process as you have already passed the 341.
May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
    July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

(Chuckle) I remember filing in 1995, was employed at $9 an hour and working 60+ hrs a week. Then after 2 months (Just enough time for saving the money for the lawyer) was laid off, filed and went through 341 meeting.

2 weeks after meeting, landed $10 hour job working about same hours, called lawyer and he laughed saying "That's how it seems to go after a BK"

Dead broke till 341 then the person who files is employed as sort of a "Mystic Reward" from fate? Cosmos? (Uknown)? So there's nothing to worry, you went in there filing in all honesty in regards to your financial affairs.

In any case, unless you won the lottery, there's little chance you'd be employed and in short order, be financially solvent.

So, if you do get employed, Congrats! (I know ALOT of unemployed people) and start saving money to rebuild your credit.
