We don't have our 341 until March 6th. We are giving up the house. We found a place to rent. Is it required to tell our lawyer or can we just use the address at the house we are giving up? Also, do trustees come and look at your house and through your things. My mom is giving us her living room set if we happen to get this house we want. I am afraid the trustee will take our stuff. We are no asset way below the median.

The only time the Trustee would take an inventory of your belongins is probably if they had good reason too, like they found out you lied about your belongings and such. This is quite rare.
