    Our mortgage is being transferred to AHMSI

    We haven't filed yet. We are looking at sometime in Feb. We are keeping the house. We are current on payments. Its with CITI now but they are selling/transferring it to American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc.
    Anyone know anything about them. I've never heard of them. Are they easy to do with when it comes to BK?

    Yes, they are in the same position as we, bankrupt!

    Looks like they are servicing loans.

      Thats dumb. Why are they buying mortgages then? Or is Citi going bankrupt?

        Not really sure. They might be just servicing the loans, not buying them.

          I was just checking out another forum www.loansafe.org and they were talking about them.
