As I had posted here, about the lousy lawyer I had before, I also let his BOSS know. The following in order is my letter and then the response.
Sometimes it helps to compalin..Maybe the next client will see a
marked change in the lawyer.

Subject: Regarding an attorney
Dear Mr. Xxxxxx,
I found by searching Google, your law firm. I filled out the information
and soon was talking to (Name deleted). I made an appointment with
him and did make that meeting.
First of all, his dress was less then even mine and I am in no way a
sharp one to say the least. His interest in my problems, was bordering
on total boredom and he seemed only interested in finding "Expenses" I
didn't have to make my situation look worse then it was.
I also wanted to talk about a Chapter 13, but he didn't even want to
bother with even exploring the chance of that.
After getting home, I was sorely puzzled by his actions, but decided to
shrug it off as "One of those things"
I then tried to open the files he sent me. However, due to the
difference of ages in mine and his computer, they wouldn't open. I then
emailed him so that he could send them to me in printed form.
While waiting for a reply, I mailed a check for $259.00 and filled out a
list of creditors.
I mailed it off and then emailed again, about the forms...Still no
reply.
It was 3 days later, I received my first creditor call. I told them (Name Deleted) was handling the case and contact him. I then, decided to
check my bank statement.
I was stunned to see a $200.00 check from citibank had cleared after it
had bounced previously. I called your offices in Hillsboro and BEGGED
that the check not be submitted and I would make it good in 2 weeks.
No reply and then I saw Wednesday, the check hit and was refused. This
also cost me $30 which I can ill afford right now.
I had received NO replies to ANY of my emails OR calls. Needless to say,
I am VERY, VERY displeased with the level of this lawyer/attorney and
have an appointment with a new lawyer who before I even had an
appointment, demanded I bring in loads of information with me.
Something (Name Deleted) never did.
I will not go about the web posting my bad experience with him, but if I
ever hear that someone is using him, I would tell them everything that
has happened to me. I would strongly suggest to you, that you let Mr.
(Deleted) know that his attitude, demeanor and dress was VERY bad and is
not the way a prospective client should ever be treated to.
Sincerely
(Name Deleted)
Dear Mr. Xxxxxx.
I'm very sorry about the experience you had with an attorney at this
firm. I'm going to talk to Mr. XxXxxxx about his lack of professionalism
and failure to listen to you, rest assured that this isn't the way its
supposed to work here.
I hope that your new attorney is able to assist you in your needs. Good
luck.
