Agreed. You want lots and lots of documentation - lien, repair estimates (body & mechanical), appraisals or buy offers (from CarMax, etc). The more you have, the less attractive the vehicle will be.

My mom has my title as after the lien was placed, they, of course, mailed it to her. I'll go over to Toyota to get a repair estimate on the hose work, 2 catalytic converters, power antenna, rear matching bumper dents & the the spot where I backed into god knows what at the gas station...to you & I it's just a little crunch spot between the tailight & bumper but to Toyota, it's jacked up...I guess I could get a buyout figure from Toyota as well, but I thought someone had said that it's not the buyout figure it's the figure that the truck could be re-sold for?
