Arrrgh - they just called me to find out why I was overdue at WORK and called my boss' line! I just gave in and told them im filing and NOT to call me back at work. She didn't seem to understand, but hopefully she wont call again. How imbarrissing, I lied to my boss and said it was someone I knew. Does anyone have any advise on how I should handle this if I get another call?

Once you tell a creditor to never call you at work again, they are (by law) not supposed to call you there again. If they do, you can have charges pressed against them.Filed: 10/11/05 DONE

The simplest, and farily effective method, is to just tell the creditors that its against company policy for creditors to contact employees at work. You can also communicate this to the creditor via a letter too.
