Hello all,

Just begining to look into bankruptcy as an option and have a few quick questions-

State MI
Married

I own 3 cars at this time.

One a broken down 94 Taurus (will be getting rid of shortly. looking at doanting)
2002 Windstar
2004 Taurus

All 3 paid for. No loans on them.

What happens to personal cars during bankruptcy if paid for?

You are allowed normally 1K on one car. Otherwise they could be sold for difference and you get 1K for them. Now if you are going to junk or sell any, put that money towards essentials like food, clothes repairs, etc. that is exempt. 'Hub
