hi, to all im just wondering if i could get a couple answers im a self employed truck driver aka o/o and i just cant do it any more i owe about $12,000 more on the truck but im behind on the on the payments 4months i have a car that i owe about $13,000 1 month behind credit card $1500 also behind on it my credit is trashed do to all the late payments i need a fresh start. so i guess my question is what form of bk should i consider filing for? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

We need your income and your state. Do you own a home and if so, how much equity? DO you intend to keep the car?, -
thanks for the reply my income is from $2000 to $5000 a month but mostly$ 2000 to $3000 a month my state is BALT,MD i do do not own a home and i dont plan to keep the car.Comment

Depending on your family size, you're likely below the median for your state. You probaly will qualify for a Chapter 7. Most bk lawyers give free or lowcost initial consultations. Get a few appointments and see what they save. You might also fill out the means test and see what sort of disposable income you have since that will be the key to a successful Chapter 7 filing.
