I was hoping to be filed by now but, DH "cheaper car" needed some unexpected repairs. Well to the point we received a letter from a collection agency for our old checking account from US Bank. Do we need to file asap? (or do we have a while) Will they garnish wages?

it's just a collection letter, no real need to worry just yet. They're just trying to get their money. When you get a court summons or judgement letter- thats when you need to file ASAP. I would just ignore the letters until they get serious. They need a court ordered judgement to garnish wages btw.Originally posted by momof3inSD View PostI was hoping to be filed by now but, DH "cheaper car" needed some unexpected repairs.
