YAHOOOO! I got my money back!

Well, as everyone knows, my bank (Wells Fargo) had debited my checking by quite a bit...Well, Tuesday I saw it had gone from $240 to $75 in the red..WHich while it's still in the red, this is good news or would be, but maybe they made a mistake...

This morning, I got my answer:

    Dear (Name Deleted):

Although the overdraft fees were correctly applied, we value your business, and in this case, have reimbursed your account for $165.00. You will see this adjustment on your account within 2 business days.

If the fee and the reversal are initiated within the same statement cycle, these items will not be reflected online or on your next statement as they simply offset each other. You can verify this by confirming the removal of the assessed fees.

FAR OUT, FAR OUT, FAR OUT!!! Yes, I am going to pull and close the account, but only because I have 2 accounts with Wells FArgo (Car and sig loan) and I don't want ANYTHING more to cause me to not get a good nights sleep....

Now I have to wait on the biggie one. I called Citibank and withdrew from our "Repayment agreement" and they asked why and I told them, again very nice and professional. But they had verbal permission to remove $200 every 26th of every month...

I'm debating pulling everything except for a few dollars, or leaving enough to cover a $150 debiting to occur Friday, for 1/2 payment on my old car and hoping the bank and Citibank don't get together and mess around with my account....

Did you sign a repayment agreement with Citibank in your BK???? Or was it just a verbal agreement before bk???

Just a verbal agreement..They closed the account, dropped the interest rate to 0 and no more late fees, over limit fees...Really hated to do this as not because of guilt, but that's pretty damn nice of a heartless cc company to make this offer..And no, I didn't have to give them $200, but felt I could afford it..

Just got the fun news today too..Looks like work is going to be a bit sparse from Novermber to January..So this is more good reasoning to go BK..Going to take unemployment and hold off the vac/sick until I leave company...
