    341 Yesterday

Had my 341 yesterday, got there a half hour in advance. 341 Meeting took literally 90 seconds. I talked to the trustee afterward about a corvette he gave up a while back more than the meeting lasted. Only reason the Corvette was brought up is because he asked me about a motorcycle I sold to my brother last April. I told him I missed it but I had to do it at the time.

So my question is as I was leaving while the meeting was still going on he said no asset and left it at that. I would expect to see a Report of No Distribution in the coming days. When would I hear if the UST would want involvement with my case? Once I have the report of no distribution is it basically done unless creditors object? I'm in the 60 day club, yoo hooo.

got my report of no distribution today!

Chapter 7 Trustee's Report of No Distribution: having been appointed trustee of the estate of the above-named debtor(s), report that I have neither received any property nor paid any money on account of this estate; that I have made a diligent inquiry into the financial affairs of the debtor(s) and the location of the property belonging to the estate; and that there is no property available for distribution from the estate over and above that exempted by law. Pursuant to Fed R Bank P 5009, I hereby certify that the estate of the above-named debtor(s) has been fully administered. I request that I be discharged from any further duties as trustee.

so is it basically a done deal, no UST involvement?

              Congrats!

The UST technically can get involved at any time during the 60 days. Were you above or below median?

The UST has 10-days after your 341 to file a presumption of abuse statement, if they see a problem with your means test (generally only applies if you are above median).

Most of the time, if the UST takes an interest in your case, you will know about it before or during the 341.
