New BK law & Utilty bills?

I keep reading on some legal sites that under the new law the trustee wants copies of old utility bills. My utilities are included in my high rent. Should I have them put under my name so I can show the expense and work it out with my landlord? I am paying my heating oil bills, phone cable, etc.

    Thanks!

Under the new law, housing & utilities are one category. Your lease probably shows that your rent includes utility payments. Whether you pay a flat amount each month or the property sends you a notice of how much to pay, you're probably ok as is.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

I know saw that too. It's probably just proof that I live there I guess in case they don't trust my drivers license. I'm actually surprised that they are so anal about stuff like this since it's all based on IRS allowed expenses no matter what and "that's the final answer". No more inflating expenses or negotiating with a judge on reasonable expenses.

My home heating oil went up 50% and we all know about gas prices lately. I sure can't wait to see the new IRS tables, I guess this January they get released what (if any) the adjustments will be. I sure hope they are fair about this. I'm willing to accept a 5 yr ch13, but I sure hope these people are reasonable in averaging these higher expenses.
