Has anyone had their car repo'd when they didn't reaffirm, even if they were never late with payments? I have been told that if you don't reaffirm they will repo regardless.
I find it hard to believe that a bank would still repo if you are regularly paying time, just because you didn't reaffirm.
Also, I have read court opinions in my district where a judge has denied a pro se filer's request to reaffirm, but stated that the debtor could still continue to make car payments if they wish. This leads me to believe that if the judge issued an opinion stating that the debtor could continue to pay on a car, the bank could not repo. Am I correct in assumming this?
