Payment plan for filing cost

Has anyone used this? It would make it easier for me and I see the form. Just wondered if anyone had been able to spread out the filing fee. I would like to do it over a couple of weeks instead of having to come up with $300 at one shot.

I think you have to pay the court the full-fee in one shot.

From what I have seen in the paper work you not only have the option to make payments, but if your income is low enough you can have the fee wavied.

You can file a motion to request the fee waived if you are under 150% of the poverty line.

If you truely can not afford it all at once then you can also apply to pay it in installments. You can not have paid any money to an attorney yet however.

You will also have to have a hearing in front of the judge to request paying in installments (in most districts).

In short, if you are able to just the pay the fee at once it will be much easier.
