Does anyone know how a trustee becomes a trustee?? Just curious! Thanks in advance for your replies!

The Trustee in you case is appointed by a US Trustee, who is appointed by The US Attorney General...
Long circle of people it goes thru....
They have to meet certain criteria and then are appointed to the positions. All of them, including US Trustees.

YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT ABOUT THAT!!!
I believe there is certain criteria they have to meet, must be a lawyer (preferably bk) and have a good practice reputation.
And also its an appointed position - sooooooooo, its also WHO YA KNOW - WHO'S YOUR BEST FRIEND.........
Also they have to be approved by the US Attorney General.
