Need help with bankruptcy question

I was discharged from a chapter 7, 3 years ago. I recently received a credit report and noticed that a creditor has put a wiped out, discharged amount back on my credit report, I want to sue.

Under a chapter 7, all debts are wiped out. A new creditor brought out a business from the old creditor. The amounts were discharged under the old creditor, I know that since the amounts were discharged, it's not right to put the amounts back on your credit report. I was denied credit because of this, I want to take legal action, cany anyone help?????
