Just kind of boggles my mind. I don't think I've spent 8k on cloths in the past 20 years . Of course, I mostly shop at JCPenney anyway, lol.

I just bought 2 external hard drives and a wireless modem for about $400. Would that be a problem?

Also, my car needs new tires and the big 40K maintenance (VW - costs about $800!!!) Should I go ahead and get it?

The OP almost seems fake. Hey is it OK to take out huge purchases before BK with no intention of paying anything back?? Of course the answer is no. Do some do it and get away with it? Yes.
