Some do. Its not being reported correctly if they do. After your discharge you will need to dispute any inaccurate data in your credit reports. The creditors can not report any payments after your FILE date unless you reaffirm the debt. And, even then, some creditors don't report the payments.Originally posted by NY1 View PostAfter I file for bankruptcy do creditors still report late payments?
If the CRA's and creditors do not report the information correctly, and you have disputed and they still do not report correctly, it is at a minimum a FDCPA violation. You can sue them for violations.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

Its up to the bank. My CU did report all my payments on a vehicle debt I reaffirmed with them. But some of the lenders don't - you can check with your lender/servicer to see if they will report your payments in the event you reaffirm the debt. If you want to you can add that to the reaffirmation agreement as one of your conditions to reaffirm.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
