Hi all. My attorney recommended that I hire a foreclosure attorney to help stretch out a foreclosure. Do you think it would be worth it? He said the attorney will run me $1000. Does anyone have any experience with foreclosure attornies?

I have a friend that just hired one, but it's too early to know how effective it will be. His mortgage payment is $3500 and he paid the attorney $2000. He figures if the attorney can squeeze one extra month out of the process, he comes out ahead.
