I had 341 today and wanted to share my experience,the place was not busy at all,which surprises me cuz I filed right before the old deadline,sat and watched as I got there early,what seemed odd is i believe my case was probably the most complicated and I had less ?s (go figure) I have 4 rental properties,3 cars(one a corvette) , 1 piece of land and I reafirmed on all except the land it was paid off
,trustee said that it seemed fine other than 1 property which might have some equity(borderline) I owe 38k it is probably worth 45-50 in an auction appraised for 62k(this is what a local auctioneer said before I purchased it from my fathers estate,trustee just said he will take it under advisement and get back to me,I also asked if the equity could be purchased by me and the lady taking the recording pops up and says "oh yes" you can make payments to the court if you want to,I wasnt aware of that,but oh well if they take it that is still fine, really wanted to keep it since it belonged to my father,I did ok if it stays like it is,now I will be sweatin out the next 60 days....
One thing I can tell people on this board is, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Make a plan and educate yourself on bk cuz if you plan your case and pay attention and LOGONTO this site..it makes a BIG difference,I am so glad I did.p.s. I about freaked when I am sitting there I forgot I dont have a ss card, it got chewed up a long time ago ...washer I think,but anyway it was ok as i had it on my tax form. Thanks for all the help on this site. new life in 60 days (hopefully)
