I have credit card with the bank I have a checking account and my social
security check is deposit in that account every month....Do i need to get a new account some place else? Or will it be safe still using the that account

If you are planning on filing bankruptcy and you are going to include the credit card from the same bank where you keep your checking account at you need to find a new bank to handle your checking account and related banking transactions. Most credit card agreements include something called the "right of offset" which basically means that if you fail to pay your outstanding obligations with them they have the right to offset your debt with them by taking whatever money exists in your bank accounts with them.
