Wait a minute. I thought Lightning was leaving us for better climes. I could have SWORN I read a post earlier stating he was leaving and not coming back because we were mean to him.

Hey I figured out why he said he was leaving. He ran out of original things to say. He has already discussed community college, education and degrees with me.
Another bright idea popped in my head as I am sitting here typing this:

HE GOES TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE OR MAYBE THAT IS WHERE HIS ASPIRATIONS LIE - TO GO TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE (HE'S PROBABLY STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL).

Besides, He has probably been banned/kicked off every other internet site. Even the pay-per-views!!!!

Well this is one of the funniest reads I've had in a while. It's too bad that Lightning is now banned. Now that's one true closet BK'er. I wonder which one is his pacer file?

Glad this could be of some entertainment value to somebody. We have got to have something to laugh at. He surely pissed me off many times, BUT I had just as many laughs. If you have just filed bankruptcy you should already have pretty tough skin.
Again, I know he wrote what alot of people have already said or wanted to say that are not or have been in our positions. Guess that is why he got to us.

So Lightning has never filed BK I didn't know that. I just assumed everyone on this forum has either filed or is trying to make a decision to file. Is Lightning trying to decide whether or not to file?

Lightening is a "former" member due to the fact that he liked to get arguements started on the forum......
He liked to "belittle" others, pass judgement on them, and
had a sarcastic "way" of voicing his opinion about bankruptcy.

He offered very little support, or information for bankruptcy filers.

When he got out of hand, he was banned from the forum.... just as anyone else would be that had been warned several times....

Excuse me, but what is wrong with Community College? This post makes it sound as if there is something wrong with CC. A college education is respectable, be it Community College, or Ivy League. Not everyone can afford to start out at a University, so they have to attend CC for a couple years. And many people only require a 2 year Associates degree for the profession they want to get into, which usually means Community College.

People who think they are better than anyone else simply because they have a 4 year degree are pathetic. There are people who didn't even graduate high school who make more than college grads.

College doesn't equal superiority.

- Lightening got me a little carried away as usual. I have an Associate's Degree and a Batchelor's Degree and many of my probationers make more money than I do, (I'm not in this job for the money - that should explain part of the reason for bk)
I teach part time at our local Community College. Knowledge is a great thing and should occur on a routine basis no matter how young or old someone is. Besides "grades" aren't the real indicator on how "smart" or not an individual is.
My point in reference to the Community College for Lightening was, I think he is still in high school, with his "silver spoon" hanging out of his mouth. Or was working on his 10th year in college trying to declare a major because he doesn't know what he wants to do when he grows up except pass judgement on those thats life doesn't conform to what he thinks is right.
