but you sure learned a lot though. keep going and after awhile you will know who to pick.

you have to get one that will work for you on your own terms, whatever that is for you. why? becuase once you pick one, and they start f-ing up and making mistakes and doing things you dont like - it if happens - then you have to be able to get them to do things for you to make your comfortable. once you start with one you pretty much dont switch.

if nothing goes wrong then it wouldnt matter who you picked maybe. but once it does you have to get strict and play hardball if they arnt working with you. pick one that will handle stuff the way you want it handled.

most people never realize this. most dont have to.

keep reporting back and thanks for the input!

Thanks for the input, BK. We will keep that in mind.

As we were pulling away in the car, Hubby said, "I wasn't real impressed with him." I wasn't either but I felt he really knew his stuff. I also got the impression that he presents to the Court what he knows they want to see. He gets a fair arrangement for his clients because he knows he's got a low risk going in.

I don't think he's the kinda guy you can work with. He seemed like an "It's GOTTA be this way and I won't do it any different" type of person. If something went south, he'd prolly tell us what the Court likes or what the Court wants instead of what's in our best interest.

He kinda made me think of the poster who's attny asked if they'd submitted their taxes to the Trustee when the Trustee hadn't even asked for them before the discharge.

I am not an attorney. My comments are based on personal experience and research. Always consult an attorney in your area to address concerns related to your particular situation.
