I'm so glad I found this forum. I've been thinking about this topic for a long time. I got a book about bankruptcy a year ago, didn't understand it that well, and then managed to find some work so averted disaster for a while. Recently I keep googling for answers about how to handle credit cards but the information out there is mostly useless. I've been going back and forth in my mind about what to do (try to keep paying credit cards with loans, give up) and was too paralysed by fear to do anything.
