Need To File Your 2005 Taxes: Federal Can Be Free

state will cost you a little bit. read details carefully.

ive used the turbo tax for state before and it worked fine. think it stores it online for so many months then gets rid of it. so just print your copy and save it if you do Turbo Tax.

others might be different. many to chose from.

Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

I have used TaxAct for the past 4 years. With the standard edition you can efile one return for free. The state costs extra but my state (Ohio) has state efiling on the web for free.

File your taxes online with confidence using TaxAct’s accurate solutions for individuals and businesses.

does anyone know if you borrow someones Turbo Tax CD if you can install them on your machine too? Also, if the Turbo State is a CD as well can the be installed on another persons machine and used again?

of course this is just for research purposes as i would never consider welching someone out of money they deserve.

(now that would be a great T-Shirt to wear to the 31 meeting lol)

ummm.... that would be illegal. If someone was wanting to research how it would work, it should work fine. Most software will install and function on other computers. You probably won't be able to efile with it though since they probably have already used the efile that came with the system.
