I haven't filed for bankruptcy yet, but I have been contemplating it. I will be getting an income tax refund this year. I have read somewhere that if you receive a refund and wait 90 days after receiving refund to file for bankruptcy there shouldn't be a problem with the trustee taking the refund especially if it is all spent, correct? Please advise!

well that sounds safe i guess. not sure you need to wait that long. its all up to the trustee.
save your receipts and spend on needed things only. if its tons then wait. if its little then dont worry too much imo.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!
