    I'm glad the sites helped.

    One thing that helps me as I go through my difficulties is to remember that, as long as I'm honest, the WORST they can do is take my belongings. I still have my family, I still have everything that really matters. Belongings can be replaced... especially after you're no longer held down by massive debt and 31% interest rates. Take a deep breath and relax.

      Yes, US laws are different that UK laws.....including the bankruptcy laws. Probably a lot in common though...

      Bankruptcy is not the end of the world - it's just a "pitstop in your travels".

      The creditor involved may very well shooting himself in the foot - instead of working something out with you.... SMILE - his loss!!!
