effect of dismissal on credit report

When a bankruptcy is filed and then dismissed either by the debtor or the court before discharge, how does it appear on one's credit report? Does it say "dismissed" or something like that?

Yes, it will show the filing date, the date of dismissal, and will remain on your credit report for 7-10 years.

IIB... for example you have citibank mastercard... balance is 0 then IIB (included in bankruptcy) which is never a good thing. Filing for bankruptcy will give you a fresh start. meaning you will be building your credit from scratch
This Forum is better than any lawyer I met.
