    Tomorrow is the day!

    Tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2:00PM EST we go to our attorney's office to file. We are going in hoping to do Chapter 7, but being about $125 over the median, I am preparing myself for a Chapter 13.

    Hopefully, everything will go smoothly. I cannot wait to get this part behind us and get on with it.

    if you're over by $125 u should be ok to file chap 7
    what about your income vs your expenses?

          TODAY is the day. Keep us posted!

                Whew. Went to my attorney's office today expecting to file a chapter 13. We were $500 over the median. However, we were -$131 on the means test, and had only $0.20 left in our budget on Schedule J.

                So, we were able to file Chapter 7. The attorney didn't think we'd have any trouble from our Trustee either.

                So relieved to have this part done. Now we wait!
