    Fingers Crossed!

    Today I was really busy - sending and faxing letters out to every creditor letting them know we have retained a BK attorney and they could call them for any questions. Hopefully this will stall any potential lawsuits that were starting to brew...lol

    Now just keeping my fingers crossed that the judgment creditor doesn't make a move before April 1st

      Not if you have Capital One, we told them we were filing and had retained an attorney, real fast they file a civil suit against us. We had to wait a few more months to actually file, so I had to answer the filing and sent a letter to the judge disputing the lawsuit. He gave us time and we will be filing next week after our last meeting with our lawyer. So at least we were able to hold off a judgement against us as they require more work to get taken care of after your BK is done.

        Good luck Freddy. Seems to vary by lender/mood/moon phase/etc. but good luck!
